I really wish this book was longer. I couldn't have gotten enough of Adrien and Sierra. There is so much more to these two characters that one book just can't contain. Ms. Chardou always delivers when it comes to heat and really sexy men. She switched up her style slightly and yet again she delivers a book you can't put down. I checked out her pintrest board to see who her muse was for each character, and it fits.
Adrien aka Diablo is a man who has been scared by a past event that haunts him so much it jaded his views on women forever. Well that is until he sees Sierra. This past event is definitely not what you would expect. I don't want to give a single detail away with any sort of spoiler, so I am purposely being vague. This event is not the regurgitated woman screws over guy by lying or cheating, it is so much more unigue. I was gob smacked.
Sierra is a smart and sexy good girl who deep down is repressed by expectations set on her by her Mother. She has always done what was expected of her academically, and had goals set for what she wanted for the future.
Adrien becomes captivated by photos of Sierra sent to him by his brother Damien, and must meet her. Damien just so happens to be dating her friend, but he has a hatred for Sierra that Adrien does not understand.
A planned meeting with Adrien's band Breathless Eternity puts Sierra directly in his path.
Adrien and Sierra have a chemistry and attraction that can not be denied.
Throw in a mentally unstable ex lover and you have a recipe for disaster. Do Adrien and Sierra get their Happily Ever After, or is it a Happy For Now?
