The concept for this book is definately unique, and I was sucked in from page one. I can not imagine how scary it must be to wake up in a contry and have no idea how I got there or who I was.
Ella was attacked in a dark alley and in the beginning she remembers nothing of who she was aside from her first name. She has no identification, money, passport, and can not even speak the native language. If not for her beautiful eyed savior, she may have died in the alley and no one would have known.
Kayden is everything she should be scared of, especially in her fragile state, but she can not shake the gut feeling that she is safe with him. She does not fully trust him, because she can not even fully trust herself right now. The one thing that she does know is this man is offering to protect her and take care of her until she regains her memory.
Being crippled by flashbacks and terrible headaches, she has no choice but to lean on Kayden to survive.
Kayden is drawn to Ella for reasons he can not explain. He needs to protect her, but he also wants her beneath him in his bed. If she knew about his past, and his dangerous present, would she run away?
This is definately an excellent start to the series and I can not wait to see how it ends.
